Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11 a .m., on Monday, March 28, 2011, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Roland James Pellerin, 36, who passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at his residence. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Fr. Gregory Chauvin, his best friend, will conduct the services. Con-celebrant will be Rev. Michael Champagne. Eulogy will be given by Eric Waltner. Reading the scriptures will be Sheri Bajat and Theresa Aibeche. Presenting gifts will be Cynthia Dore and Seana Berard. Roland was a very caring, giving, kindhearted son, brother and friend. He was a avid L.S.U. Tiger and Saints fan. He enjoyed the outdoors; camping and hiking at numerous national parks and beaches he so loved and adored. He was dearly loved and will truly be missed by his family and friends. He was employed by Louisiana Environmental Monitoring, Inc. Survivors include his father, Jerry J. Pellerin and his step-mother, Janel Pellerin; his mother, Melanie Olivier; his sisters, Jennifer Melancon and her husband, Neil (Sam) and Brenda Theriot and her husband, Ken; his girlfriend, Jennifer Nunez; his step-brothers, Randy Sonnier and Sandy Sonnier; his step-sisters, Cynthia Dore and Seana Berard. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Monday. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. Pallbearers will be Randy Sonnier, Matt Beverly, Clem Sibley, Eric Waltner, Randy Dupuis, Steve Bajat, Sandy Sonnier, Jamie Bourgeouis and Kevin Guidry.
