RosaLee "Rosie" Campbell

St. Martinville - A Funeral Service will be held at 3:30 PM, Sunday, November 09, 2025, at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville for RosaLee "Rosie" Campbell, 80, who passed away on November 2, 2025, at Calcutta House in Lafayette.

A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville on Sunday, November 09, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Rev. Paul Onuegbe will officiate at the funeral service.

Inurnment will follow at a later date.

Rosalee was born on February 19, 1945, in Plattsburgh, New York. Throughout her life, Rosalee showed a remarkable spirit of compassion and kindness. She had a profound love for animals and was well-known for taking in stray cats and dogs, nurturing them back to health with her big heart.

A woman of faith, Rosalee found joy in singing in the choir, where her beautiful voice uplifted those around her. She was also a great friend, always ready to lend a listening ear to those in need, offering support and understanding to anyone going through difficult times. Rosalee Campbell will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, compassion, and friendship will continue to inspire those left behind.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, John (Ross) Campbell; and her siblings, Charles "Bob" Brandon, Gael Fuentes, and Lillian McWeeney.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ashville and Easter Lillian Howard Brandon; and her brothers, Calvin Brandon and Howard Brandon.
