Ross Patrick Migues

New Iberia Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Ross Patrick Migues, 47, who died on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in New Iberia. Interment will follow in the Migues Cemetery, in Delcambre. Bro. Ron Perkins will officate. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, in New Iberia. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM. A native of New Iberia, Ross was born on August 17, 1966, and was employed with the Iberia Parish Government, and had previously worked as a lieutenant for the Iberia Parish Sheriff Department. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, playing golf, being outdoors, and playing music. Ross is survived by his father, Curley Migues, Jr. of Lydia. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann Bergeron Migues; a brother, Brannon Migues; grandparents, Curley Migues, Sr., Marie Broussard Migues, Louise Buteau Bergeron Cormier, and Wilson Bergeron. Pallbearers will be Earl Migues, Joey Lopez, Robert Daigle, Reed Migues, Matt Rivet, Ricky Boudreaux, Johnny Gachassin, and Leroy Migues. Honorary pallbearers include Franklin LaBiche, Tony LeBlanc, Joshua Romero, Herman Broussard, Terry Bourgue, Dexter Miguez, Leafia Dauterive, and co-workers at Iberia Parish Government Public Works Department.
