Roy "Coppee" Latiolais, Jr.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 1:00 pm for Roy "Coppee" Latiolais, 67, who passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025. 

Burial will follow at St. Francis Regis Catholic Church Cemetery in Arnaudville.

Roy was born on July 31, 1958, in Lafayette. For several years, Coppee dedicated his skills and heart to the J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home, where he worked as a maintenance worker. His diligent efforts ensured a safe and comfortable environment for the residents. He also devoted much of his time and talent to the Thensted Church in Grand Coteau. Beyond his work, Coppee found joy in cooking. His passion for painting allowed him to express his creativity.

He is survived by his father, Roy Latiolais, Sr.; son, Dylan Latiolais; daughters, Christina Huval (Chuck) and Sara Broussard (Brent); brothers, Henry Latiolais (Carla), and Derek Latiolais (Lori); sisters, Cynthia Hollier (Brad), Deanna Lejeune (Harvey), and Bertha Guidry; grandchildren, Victoria, Phillip, Gaige, Aiden, Rylee, and Paityn; and his nieces and nephews, Alicia (Erik), Nicholas (Tiffany), Andrew, Cooper, Jake (Allie), Tyra (Jeremy), Leah (Brady), Lori (Jordan), and Andrea.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Kidder Latiolais; brother-in-law, Ames Kidder; nephew, Brandon Jude Guidry; niece, Baby Brooke; and his son's mother, Kim Hebert.
