Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Russell Joseph Comb, Sr., 75, who passed away on Friday, March 7, 2014, at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9 am until 9 pm on Tuesday, and continue on Wednesday at 9 am until 12:45 pm. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Begnaud Comb; his sons, Robert Comb (Shaye Vincent) and Danny Comb (Suzanne Quebedeaux) ; his daughters, Sherry Comb, Tammy McGee (Dany Galeas), Lisa Angelle, and Tricia Comb; his godchild, Tonya Babineaux Huval; his good friend, Lloyd Menard; 17 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 1 step-great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his father, Desito Comb; his mother, Eula Webb Comb; his sons, Keith Comb and Russell Comb, Jr.; his brother, Carrol Comb; and his sisters, Ruth Broussard and Mary Ann Newman. Pallbearers will be Rocky McGee, Jr., Brice Menard, Justin Angelle, Robbie Comb, Kayleb Comb, and Keith Comb, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert and Danny Comb.
