Russell "Rusty" Daigle

Cecilia- A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia for Russell "Rusty" James Daigle, 47, who passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023.

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Cecilia on Thursday from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM.

A rosary will be prayed at 11:00 AM by Deacon Ken Soignier on Thursday. 
 
Deacon Ken Soignier will officiate at the funeral service. 

Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in the mausoleum. 

Russell, better known as "Rusty" to his family and friends, was born on June 6, 1976, in Breaux Bridge. He loved to be outdoors. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, and visiting and spending time with his family. Rusty will be deeply missed, and his memory will be cherished forever.

He is survived by his father, Russell Daigle (Paulette Johnson); children, Hunter Daigle and Hayley Daigle; girlfriend, Chelsea Robin; step-daughter, Brittany Bergeaux; brother, Justin Bodin; step-sister, Tina; and step-brother, Lawrence "T-Boy" Johnson.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Gail Armentor; paternal grandfather, Lucien Daigle; paternal grandmother, Agnes Johnson; and his maternal grandmother, Mazey Barton. 
 
Pallbearers will be Hunter Daigle, Lawrence "T-Boy" Johnson, Steffen Burghdoff, Courtney "Coco" Lasseigne, Kerry Daigle, and Ronald "T-Ron" Daigle, Jr.
