Rusty Angelle

Cecilia - Rusty Charles Angelle, 42, of Cecilia, LA, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Lafayette General Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m., on Monday, December 13, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, with interment following at St. Joseph Cemetery. Scriptures will be read by his nieces, Rachel Theriot, Alexandra Angelle, and Jeanne Theriot. Gift Bearers will be his godchildren, Leilani and Ashley; and his nephews, Roman Angelle, Gus Maraist, and Shae Stelly. The Eulogy will be given by his son, Ezra Angelle and his niece, Mia Fontenot. Father Donald Pousson will officiate at the Funeral Mass and Msgr. J. Douglas Courville will serve as Con-Celebrant. Rusty was employed by VIP International for 22 years. He had no greater love, than the love of his son, Ezra, whom he adored and loved unconditionally. He is survived by his wife, Karice Angelle and one son, Ezra James Angelle; two brothers, Perry James Angelle and his wife, Peggy D. Angelle, and Tex Joseph Angelle and his companion, Angie Guidroz, all of Cecilia; one sister, Virginia Angelle Theriot and her husband, John Keith Theriot, of Parks; one uncle, Roosevelt Trahan and three aunts, Elaine Trahan, Lou Angelle, and Yvonne Angelle Guidry; five nieces, Rachel Theriot, Mia Theriot Fontenot, Alexandra Angelle, Jeanne Theriot, and godchild, Leilani Theriot; two nephews, Roman Angelle and Gus Maraist; and one great nephew, Gabriel Theriot. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Flo Angelle; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Angelle, Sr.; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Trahan. The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Sunday, December 12, 2010 from 8 a .m. and continue until 2 p.m. on Monday. A rosary will be recited on Sunday evening. Pallbearers will be Perry Angelle, Tex Angelle, Jude Huval, Francis LeBlanc, Shane Stelly, Rylan Hebert, Troy Tauzin, and Jeral Matthews. Honorary pallbearers will be his four brothers-in-law, John Keith Theriot, Mike Maraist, Ji Angelle, and Ashton Angelle; Marshall Angelle, Jack Harris, David 'Hoss' Maddry, Stanley Miller, Ted Rubel, Darwin Passman, Ed Cook, Randy Leindecker, Mark Thompson, Stephan Sam, Oliver Edwards, Hasan Alis, Neal Begnaud, Brian Domingue, Jeremy LBouef, Don Oliver, Clay Calkins, Wagner Pfeffer, Gage Rabino, Andrew Primeaux, Jon and Jake Juneau.
