St. Martinville ;- A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2011, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in St. Martinville, for Ruth Mae Rhodes Arceneaux, 90, who passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana.
Reverend Mark Gaudin will conduct the service.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy Arceneaux Mouton and her husband, Al, of Broussard, and Janie Arceneaux McMath and her husband, Tommy, of New Iberia; five grandchildren, Braden Thompson and his wife, Kelli, Stacey Crawford and her husband, David, Grady McMath and his wife, Danielle, Kristie Hebert and her husband, Troy, and Travis McMath and his fiance, Jennifer Beslin; numerous grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Raymond Arceneaux; parents, George and Mae Webb Rhodes; a sister, Frances Rhodes; one grandson, Charles 'Chip' Thompson; and a great grandson, Aaron Massey.
A gathering of family and friends will be held in the funeral home on Saturday from 1 p.m. ;until time of service.
