Shannon Jude Viator

Coteau – Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Pellerin Funeral Home, for Shannon Jude Viator, 51, who passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024.

Entombment will follow in the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church Cemetery, in Coteau.

Deacon Keith Duhon will officiate.

Visitation will be Monday, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home, and will continue Tuesday from 8:00 am until 11:00 am. A rosary, led by Deacon Durk Viator, will be prayed at 6:00 pm on Monday, at Pellerin Funeral Home.

A resident of Coteau, Shannon was born on March 23, 1972, to Glenn Viator and Kathleen Faye Comeaux Viator. He enjoyed golf, welding, and boiling crawfish. More than anything, Shannon loved his family dearly, and he cherished every moment with them. Always happy and positive, he could make anyone laugh. Shannon was always very loving and kind to everyone.

Survivors include his children, Hailey Viator, Destin Delahoussaye, and Lacie Bergeron; mother, Kathy Comeaux Viator; wife, Theresa Bergeron Viator; grandchildren, Britten Dupuis, Macyn Dupuis, and Madden Dupuis; brothers, Chad Viator and Angelo Ciulla; sister, Robin Viator; step mother, Deborah Viator; and his godmother/aunt, Lucy Kim.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Viator; grandparents, Ernest and Lillian Comeaux, Tildan and Rosie Viator; aunt, Sandra Comeaux Garza.

Shannon will be deeply missed. May his memory be a blessing.
