Sherri Lee Sheen New Iberia - Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm, on Saturday, June 18, 2016, at Temple Baptist Church in New Iberia, for Sherri Lee Sheen, 64, who passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2016, in Lafayette. A gathering of family and friends will be at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia from 9:00 AM until 11:30 AM on Saturday, June 18, 2016. Bro. Aaron Weido will officiate. Interment will follow at Beau Pre Cemetery in Jeanerette. Sherri was a Sunday School teacher at Temple Baptist Church, where she was a longtime member, and also sung in the choir. She was one of a kind, and a true friend who told you what you needed to hear, not what you wanted to hear. She was always encouraging and always smiling. She was very strong in her faith. She loved God, her family, and her friends unconditionally. Sherri was a beloved mother, daughter, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed. She is survived by two daughters, Heather Olivier and husband Tracy, and Kristi Killian and husband Matthew, all of Spring, TX; a son, Timothy Sheen, II of West Palm Beach, FL; mother, Thelma Weaver and husband Gary of New Iberia; grandchildren, Joshua Olivier, Jacob Olivier, Timothy Olivier, Madison Olivier, Steven Ferritti, Aaron Olivier, Caleb Killian, Samuel Killian; a brother, James "Jimmy" Lee of Mihomes, IL; a sister, Yvette Herring and husband Brian of Pekin, IL; and the father of her children, Timothy Sheen of Broussard. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard "Ricky" Lee, a sister, Linda Perry, and her father, Donald Lee.
