New Iberia - Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM ;Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia, for Shirley Case Hodges, 70, who passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2010 in New Iberia. ; Entombment will follow in Holy Family Mausoleum. ; Rev. A.L. Lyle will officiate. Born on August 9, 1939 Shirley was a former beautician and caretaker, and enjoyed visiting with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed. ; Survivors include her daughters, Janice Ruth Knight of New Iberia, Roxanne Lain and husband Frank of New Iberia; sisters, Jackie Watters of Houston, Mary Armentor and husband Larry, Jo Borel, and Sue David all of New Iberia; brother, Alfred Buddy Johnson and wife Sherrie of Trinity, Texas; grandchildren, Trinity Gary and companion, Shanna, Alicia Waguespack and husband Shaun, Justin Hawkins and wife Nikki, Tabitha Knight and companion Eddie, and Hutch Knight; great grandchildren, Hunter, Raeli, Trae, Drake, Alex, and Shilow; several nieces and nephews. ; She was preceded in death by her previous husband, Joe Richard Hodges; her first husband, George Wynn; parents, David Johnson and Eunice Ruth Barnett Johnson; sister, Ruthie Zell Childs. ; A gathering of family and friends will be Monday from 4:30 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia.
