Breaux Bridge - Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, on Friday, January 3, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge, for Sidney Louis Cancienne, 62, who passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Thursday and continue at 8:00 am until 10:45 am on Friday. Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the Funeral Service. Music will be provided by Pat Menard. Readers will be Joshua Dubois and Kim Toothman. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Sidney enjoyed fishing, boating, music, concerts, and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his daughters, Courtney Pinilla and her husband, Jeovany, and Cara Dubois and her husband, Joshua; his two grandchildren, Alianie Pinilla and Liam Dubois; his nephew, Luis Ortiz and his wife, Jackie; and his six nieces, Robyn Harmon, Leslie Cancienne, Vickie Esponge, Ginger Cancienne, Kim Toothman, and Erica Devillier. He is preceded in death by his father, Eric Louis Cancienne; his mother, Annie Maude Cancienne; his brother, Robert Leslie Cancienne; and his sister, Anita Ann Ortiz. Pallbearers will be Cara Dubois, Luis Ortiz, Joshua Dubois, Jeovany Pinilla, Jacob Harmon, and Wayne Toothman.
