Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, on Friday, May 20, 2016, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Stephanie Ann Charles, 30, who passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at St. Martin Hospital. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia from 7:00 am until 10:30 am on Friday. A rosary will be prayed at 8:30 am on Friday. Rev. Neil Pettit will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cecilia. Miss Stephanie enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She also like listening to various music, playing video games and cross stitching. She will be remembered for her smile that portrayed a terrific personality. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Charles of Cecilia, son, Jaiveon McElroy of Cecilia, sister, Samantha Charles of Sandusky, OH, brother, Joshua (companion, Samantha Brethuar) Batiste of Saginaw, MI, and paternal grandfather, Jules Charles of Arnaudville. She is preceded in death by her father, Danny Lee Charles, paternal grandmother, Elodie Charles, maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Maxie Batiste, Sr. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia, 2238 Bushville Hwy., Cecilia, LA 70521, is in charge of arrangements.
