Steven was born on February 13, 1969, in New Iberia, Louisiana. He was a 1987 graduate of New Iberia Senior High, and proudly served our country by being part of the Army reserves.

Steven's career path was a remarkable journey filled with creativity and hard work. His love for music led him to tour with top artists as their sound and stage lighting specialist, ensuring that audiences had unforgettable experiences night after night. Additionally, Steven's skills extended to videography, where he beautifully captured countless weddings over the years. In more recent times, he found fulfillment as the franchise owner and operator of the UPS Store in New Iberia.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Steven found joy in various hobbies and interests. An avid football fan, he cheered on the Saints with passion. His faith was also a cornerstone of his life, as seen through his active involvement at St. Peter's Catholic Church where he selflessly served as a Eucharistic Minister and Sacristan.

One of Steven's proudest accomplishments was paddling canoes in four states with the Explorer Scout Racing Team and bringing home two national championships from Missouri. His adventurous spirit and competitive drive inspired those around him to reach new heights.

Family meant everything to Steven, and he cherished moments spent taking beach vacations with his children. He will be deeply missed by many.

Steven is survived by his father, James M. Delcambre; three children, Nicholas, Kaitlyn, and Addison Delcambre; former wife, Kelly Delcambre; and siblings, Wynde Delcambre Cernich (Bill), Mike Delcambre (Tricia), Jacques Henri Delcambre (Koko), and Stewart Delcambre (Renee).
