Suzanne Dugas

New Iberia Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, February 24, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Suzanne Marie Dugas, 63, who died on Sunday, February 16, 2014 in Franklin. Interment will be at a later date. Rev. Bill Ruskoski will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, in New Iberia. Suzanne was born on May 22, 1950 in New Orleans, and worked as a weigh master for the St. Mary Sugar Co-Op. An avid LSU and New Orleans Saints Fan, she loved to fish and build puzzles. Suzanne was fun loving, and had a smile and laugh that could melt your heart. She never met a stranger, and had a heart of gold. A wonderful sister and friend, she will be sadly miss by all. Rest in peace Sue, our sister and friend. Survivors include her sisters, Denise Dugas of Morgan City, Stephanie Dugas of Breaux Bridge, Yvette Dugas of Duson, Monette Dugas of Youngsville; brothers, Andre Dugas of Franklin, Dion Dugas of Franklin; sister-in-law, Peggy Dugas of Franklin; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. L.J.
