Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. , on Monday, May 16, 2011, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Tammy Marie Daigle Hayes, 47, who died on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 in Texas. Father Chanh Nguyen will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Tori Hayes and Nicholas Lyons. Gift Bearers will be Lauren Hayes, Annie Lyons, Samuel Lyons, Gage Ferrill, Tristen Hayes, and Kaiton Hayes. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum No. 2 in Breaux Bridge . Tammy was married to the love of her life, Allen, for 31 years. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson , where she was a member of the Ladies Altar Society and served as a C.C.D. teacher for several years. Although Allen was the motorcycle enthusiast, Tammy loved traveling with him every chance she could. She was a member of Star Touring and Riding Chapter 217 and the Ladies of Star Motorcycle Association. She was very supportive in the fundraising efforts of 'Feed the Children,' 'Toys for Tots' and 'Toys to Recovery' programs. Survivors include her son, Starbuck Hayes of Breaux Bridge ; her father, Phillip Daigle of Duson; her mother, Eva Marie LaGrange of Cecilia; two brothers, Jason Daigle of Cecilia, and Phillip Daigle of Breaux Bridge ; and two grandchildren, Gage Ferrill and Kaiton Hayes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen James Hayes. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Sunday from 9 a .m. until 10 p.m. and continue on Monday at 7 a .m. until 1:15 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Sunday. Pallbearers will be Phillip Daigle, Tyler Daigle, Jason Daigle, Travis Boyer, John Lagenge, and Mark Breaux. Honorary pallbearer will be Gage Ferrill.
