Telesphor "T-Boy" Davis

Cecilia - Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 am, on Thursday, January 16, 2014, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Telesphor "T-Boy" Davis, 72, who passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014, at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Pellerin Funeral Home on Carver & Dauterive from 8:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 am on Thursday. Rev. Michael Delcambre will officiate at the Funeral Service. Scriptures will be read by Ann Celestine and Mona Calais. Gift Bearers will be Ann and Milton Celestine. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cecilia. T-Boy was a people person he never met a stranger. He loved being outdoors, especially cutting grass and caring for his dogs, and enjoyed watching old western movies on t.v. He is survived by his longtime companion, Philosa Lewis; his son, Telesphor Lewis; and two brothers, Leo and Felton Davis. He is preceded in death by his parents, Zeno and Melissa Reece Davis; five sisters, Aspazie Batiste, Hazel Davis, Mary Carter, Ethel Gibson, and Lucille Peter; and two brothers, Carlton and Joseph Davis. Pallbearers will be Melvin Davis, Kurt Davis, Isaac Davis, Donavon Sam, Derien Sam, Keith Davis, Randy Peter, and Leo Davis.
