Terence Leger

Cecilia - A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, August 29, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia honoring the life of Terence Leger, 67, who passed away on August 24, 2025.

Rev. Gregory Cormier will officiate at the Memorial Mass.

Terence was a loving husband, devoted father, and cherished grandfather. He was born on September 22, 1957, in Opelousas, Louisiana, and he spent his life in Breaux Bridge, where he built a legacy of hard work and dedication as a skilled welder in the oil field.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Vickey Leger; mother, Rita Leger; sons, Terence "James" Leger and "Jason" Tyrelle Leger (Eleesha Pierron); siblings, Tyrelle Leger (E'Lyse Friendly), Edith Leger Prince (James), Melissa Leger- Nicholas (Walter) and Emily Ann Leger Gerschefske (Shane) James and Diane Howse; and his five grandchildren, Fiona Boggs, Devin Hardy, Brailen Hardy, Chase Pierron and Landon Pierron.

He is preceded in death by his father, Herbert Joseph Leger, Mr. and Mrs.Tomas Leger (grandparents), Mr. and Mrs. August Robin (grandparents), Alicia Capelle Kelley-Leger (sister-in-law), Walter Upshur Nicholas (brother-in-law), James Prince (Brother-in-law), Artie Howse (Brother-in-law), Rickey Howse (Brother-in-law) James Lee Howse. (Father-in-law) and Marjorie June Howse (Mother-in-law).
