Terry "Terry" Joseph Derouen

Rynella A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am, on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at St. Marcellus Catholic Church in Rynella, for Terry Joseph Derouen, 69, who passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Monday, and continue on Tuesday at 7:00 am until 8:45 am. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Monday. Rev. Eugene Tremie will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Pam Derouen and Brenda Derouen. Interment will follow at St. Marcellus Catholic Cemetery in Rynella. Mr. Derouen was retired from Bayou Companies after 41 years of dedicated service. He was a member of Les Ortiz Guild. Terry loved working in his yard, remodeling and building things, and he had a passion for fishing. The most joyous times of his life were spending time with his step great granddaughter, Reese Kathryn Molbert she was the light of his life and he loved her dearly. Terry was a very loving and giving man and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Lou Jean Trahan Delcambre Derouen; his son, Troy Derouen; seven brothers, David Derouen and wife, Cynthia, Irvin Derouen and wife, Pamela, Verlin Derouen and wife, Brenda, Raymond Derouen and wife, Shiela, Wayne Derouen, Kenneth Derouen and wife, Nancy, and Donald Derouen and wife, Stacie; three sisters, Brenda Gaspard and husband, John, Linda Thomas, and Judy Vonmosch and husband, Mark; his step grandchild, Melanie Molbert; and step great grandchild, Reese Kathryn Molbert. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mable Guillot Derouen; his son, Tony Derouen; and two step sons, Jimmy and Danny Delcambre. Pallbearers will be David Derouen, Raymond Derouen, Donald Derouen, Verlin Derouen, Troy Derouen and Wayne Derouen.
