Theresa Domonter Taylor

Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 25, 2005, at St. Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Theresa Domonter Taylor, 71, who died Saturday, June 18, 2005 at Southwest Medical Center in Lafayette. Interment will be in St. Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include her son, Craig S. Taylor and his wife, Sherry of Arnaudville; her daughter, Mary Elizabeth Taylor Williams and her husband, Ivery of Coral Springs, FL; her brothers, Joseph J. Domonter of Opelousas, Francis Jude Richard of New Orleans, Francis Lee Richard of Lafayette, Patrick Domonter of Breaux Bridge, Oville Damon of Crowley, and Joseph Leo Damon of Crowley; her sisters, Elaine Batiste of Breaux Bridge, Lorraine Goodman of Lafayette, Ethel Gooch of Houston, TX, and Iris Damon of Cecilia; her grandchildren, Demetrius Noel, whom she raised as a son, Patriece Taylor-Batiste, whom she raised as a daughter, and was also her primary caregiver, and her husband, David Batiste, Dominique Johnson, Terrance Taylor, and Courtney Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Taylor; her daughter, Eleanor T. Noel; her parents, Ovide and Eva Richard Domonter; and her sister, Betty Broussard. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 7 AM on Saturday and continue until time of service. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements
