Mina Marks Patin

Arnaudville- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 22, 2025 at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church honoring the life of Mina Marks Patin, 98, who passed away on November 17, 2025 at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home.

A visitation will take place at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 AM on Saturday.

Rev. Travis Abadie will officiate at the funeral mass. Gift bearers will be Debbie Miller and Denise Angelle.

Burial will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery.

Mina spent her life devoted to caring for others, both professionally and within her family. She worked as a nurse's assistant, bringing comfort and compassion to countless patients during her time at St. Luke Hospital and St. Agnes Nursing Home. In addition to her dedicated career in the medical field, she was an active member of the Ladies Altar Society and participated in the Home Demonstration program, contributing to her community with both grace and generosity.

A beloved aunt, she poured her love into her family. Though she never had children of her own, she embraced her nieces and nephews wholeheartedly, nurturing them as if they were her own.

She is survived by her many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George Patin; parents, Onezime and Jeanne Marks; siblings, Onezime Marks, Jr, Maud Champagne, Mildred Ritchie, Dora Marks, Lawrence Marks and Emery Marks.

Pallbearers will be Douglas "Gee" Champagne, Wayne Champagne, Steven Marks, Carl Marks, Kenneth Marks and Jerrold Marks.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Staff of J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home.
