New Iberia - Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM , Wednesday, February 23, 2011 , at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia, for Tina Grow, 51, who passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2011 in New Iberia . Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Deacon Theo Landry will officiate. Born on February 19, ;1960 , Tina was a native and lifelong resident of New Iberia . She enjoyed going to the casino, watching her soap operas, and taking care of her puppy, 'Precious'. Survivors include her mother, Gladys Pellerin Grow of New Iberia ; daughter, Amy Acosta of New Iberia ; sons, Mateo Acosta, Jr., and Blake Acosta both of New Iberia ; brothers, Patrick L. Grow and wife Barbara of Coteau, Dennis J. Grow and wife Faye of Broussard, Kelly P. Grow and wife Margaret of Lafayette, Eric W. Grow and wife Jaylene of New Iberia; granddaughter, Nina Rose Broussard; special friends, Angie Suire, and the Lowe Family; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Ludwig P. Grow; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edmond Pellerin; and a brother, Tracy Grow. Pallbearers will be Mateo Acosta, Jr., Blake Acosta, Patrick L. Grow, Dennis J. Grow, Kelly P. Grow, and Eric W. Grow. The family would like to give special thanks to Hospice of Acadiana, Dr. Perri Prellop, Delaunes Pharmacy, and to her caregivers, Eric and Jaylene Grow for the extraordinary care and compassion given to Tina. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd , in New Iberia . A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Tuesday.
