Todd Derrick Guidry

Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 5, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia honoring the life of Todd Derrick Guidry, 60, who passed away on May 28, 2026, at his residence in Sunset.

A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia on Friday from 8:30 AM to 1:45 PM.

Rev. Gregory Cormier will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Tina Landry and Alana Landry. Gift bearers will be Gwendolyn and Laticia Richard.

Following the service, Todd will be cremated, honoring his wishes.

Todd was born on June 1, 1965, in Arnaudville. He spent his life in pursuit of simple joys and the beauty of the outdoors. Todd will be remembered fondly by all who knew him for his love of fishing, spending time outside, cutting grass, and enjoying a cold beer. He dedicated much of his life to working in the oilfield, where his strong work ethic and determination were evident. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Joy Trosclair Guidry; father, Robley Guidry; his children, Tyler Guidry, Taran Guidry, and Kayla Latiolais; his grandchildren; siblings, Craig Guidry (Rhonda), Tina Landry (Butch), Gwendolyn Guidry (Tony), and Laticia Richard; his furry companion, a poodle, "Jazz"; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Jean Dugas Guidry; and his brother, Robley Guidry, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Craig Guidry, Butch Landry, Kevin Latiolais, Abbey "Junior" Trosclair, Anthony Trosclair, and Jerry Trosclair.
