It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Travis Michael Bonvillian, who passed away on May 11, 2026, at the age of 46, just days before his 47th birthday, as the result of a tragic car accident.
Travis was a loving father, devoted family man, and loyal friend whose heart was bigger than most. He was hardworking, caring, and the kind of person who would help anyone without hesitation. No matter what he may have been going through, he always tried to make sure the people around him were okay. His children were the center of his world, and being their father was one of the greatest joys of his life.
Throughout his life, Travis faced struggles and challenges, including addiction, but he fought hard in recovery and continued striving to build a better life for himself and for the people he loved. His journey was one of strength, resilience, and determination. Those closest to him knew the genuine love, kindness, and compassion he carried in his heart.
Travis enjoyed riding around in his car, listening to music, spending time with family, and simply being there for others whenever they needed him. He had a way of making people feel seen, understood, and cared for, and he never hesitated to lend a helping hand.
He will be remembered for his loving spirit, his generosity, his laughter, and the many ways he showed up for the people he loved. Though his time here was cut far too short, the memories he created and the love he gave will remain forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
Travis is survived by his children, Trelyn, Trahe', and Talia Bonvillian, along with many family members and friends who will miss him deeply and cherish his memory always.
He is also survived by his parents, Randy and Paulette Bergeron Bonvillian; sister, Jessica Bonvillian; brother, Ross Bonvillian; the mother of his children, Tracy Comeaux; and his godchild, Randi Bonvillian.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Roy and Elaine Bonvillian; and maternal grandparents, Calice and Enola Bergeron.
Pallbearers will be Trelyn Bonvillian, Trent Landry, Ross Bonvillian, Brayden Pourchieaux, Christian Turner and Leon Peralla, Jr.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Aaiken Dugan.
