Trevor "Trev" Colt Taylor

Cecilia - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia for Trevor "Trev" Colt Taylor, 2, who passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at his residence. 

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Cecilia on Friday, July 14, 2023, from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm. It will resume on Saturday from 8:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. 

A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Friday evening. 

Father David Rozas will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette.

Trev found joy in the simplest of pleasures. His eyes would light up whenever he watched Puppy Dog Pals on TV. But there was nothing that brought him more joy than spending time with his big brother, who was not only family but also Trev's best friend. Their bond was unbreakable, and they shared countless and cherished memories together.

Trevor's lively spirit touched the hearts of everyone around him. His infectious smile had the power to light up any room. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and nephew, who will be greatly missed by everyone blessed to know him. 

He is survived by his parents, Joseph Taylor and LaNey Trahan Taylor; brother, Kaden Taylor; maternal grandparents, Liney and Laurie Trahan; godparents, Brittany and Colt Landry; uncle, Brent Trahan (Alex); aunts, Whittney Hanks (Jon) and Celina Thibodeaux (Harley); and cousins, Gracie Trahan, Hunter Thibodeaux, Winter Reed, and Isabella Thibodeaux.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Aubree Faye Taylor; paternal grandmother, Sarah Marks; and maternal great-grandparents, Kirby and Alice LaCour. 

Pallbearers will be Colt Landry, Brent Trahan, Rusty Reed, and Jon Hanks. 

Honorary Pallbearers will be Harley and Hunter Thibodeaux.
