St. Martinville A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am, on Thursday, November 7, 2013, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Ulysses John Landry, 72, who passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at Capitol House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Baton Rouge. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in St. Martinville from 8:00 am until 10:30 am on Thursday. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 am on Thursday. Rev. Stanley Jawa will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Karen Parker. Gift Bearers will be his great nieces and nephews. Ulysses was always a hard worker. He enjoyed riding bikes and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his sister, Mary Lynn (Nolan) Broussard of St. Martinville; two nieces, Karen Parker and Letitia (Martin) Willrige; and his nephew, Ryan Broussard He is preceded in death by his father, Ludric Landry, Sr. and his mother, Lucy Mallery Landry; six brothers, Ludric Landry, Jr., Donald Landry, Earl Landry, Larry Landry, Christopher Landry, and Thomas Landry; and a niece, Bethany Broussard.
