Velma "Toot" Melancon Roberts

Cecilia A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am, on Saturday, September 28, 2013, at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia, for Velma Toot Melancon Roberts, 89, who passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. Rev. Michael Delcambre will conduct the Graveside Service and inurnment will follow. Velma was a loving and devoted mother and wife. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Sadie Roberts of Breaux Bridge; her sister, Vivian M. Guidry of Breaux Bridge; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Maxy Roberts; her parents, Armond and Terzile Devillier Melancon; and two brothers, Clifford and Ramsey Melancon.
