Virginia leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. She was born on July 8, 1941, in New Iberia, to the late Lloyd and Genevieve Faulk Adcock. Virginia's life was a testament to her unwavering dedication to her family and community.

Virginia was known for her incredibly strong family values and was described as "very family-oriented" by those who knew her best. Her warm presence and kind-hearted nature touched the lives of many.

A woman of many passions, Virginia was an active member of the Loreauville Baptist Church. She volunteered tirelessly, teaching Sunday School, serving as the Director of Vacation Bible School, and participating in the Women's Missionary Union (WMU). Her faith was not just a belief but a way of life that she embodied every day.

In addition to her church involvement, Virginia found joy in simple pleasures like flower gardening, working on puzzles, cross-stitching, and writing. She was a member of the Luncheon Club, and the Life Writing Club and had a talent for crafting beautiful short stories that captivated those around her.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Arvers Hebert; children, Bryan Hebert (Marla), Craig Hebert, Cheryl Melancon (Ray), Brett Hebert (Jennifer), Dawn Segura (Travis P.), and Jeremy Hebert; siblings, Barbara “Bobbie” Boutte (Leslie), Kenneth Adcock (Theresa), Glenn Adcock (Gail), Wanda Cassel (Carl), David Adcock, and Pamela Seale (Arthur “Buzz”); 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Melancon, Grant Hebert, Bryson Hebert, Logan Hebert, Matthew Segura, Todd Cuccio, Braden Lemen, and Thomas Greaux.

Although she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
