Vivian Loehr Collet

Cecilia A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m., on Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Cecilia, for Vivian Gail Loehr Collet, 90, who passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2014. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home beginning at 9 am on Tuesday, January 7th, and continue until time of service. Fr. Michael Delcambre will officiate at the Memorial Service. A Rosary will be prayed at 10 am on Tuesday. Vivian was a member of the Home Demonstration Club. She was very talented and creative and loved painting, doing arts and crafts, especially dolls, sewing, and making prayer and baby blankets for family and friends. She is survived by two sons, Louis R. Collet and his wife, Janel, of Breaux Bridge, and Tony W. Collet, of Houston, TX; eight daughters, Billie C. Elmer and her husband, Victor, of Breaux Bridge; Donella C. Duncan of Arnaudville, Ruby C. Guidry and her husband, Ronnie, Mary C. Guidry and her husband, Brian, Darlene Collet Broussard, Jan C. Webre and her husband, Toby, Jill C. Zimmerman and her husband, Guy, all of Breaux Bridge, and Candy C. Hamilton and her husband, Ronnie, Shenandoah, TX; 27 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren; and four nieces, three nephews, and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, Louis Collet; her parents, William C. and Ruby Long Loehr; her sisters, Doris Silvers and Betty Foster; two infant brothers, William and Robert Loehr; and her son-in-law, Dr. Billy Milton Duncan, EdD.
