Breaux Bridge, LA - A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, April 25, 2014, at Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette, Louisiana, for Wesley Alex Randall, 78, who passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2014, from 4 pm until 8 pm and continue on Friday at 8 am until 10 am, at Pellerin Funeral Home, 211 Berard St., Breaux Bridge, LA 70517.
Mr. Randall was a veteran of the Korean War having honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and gardening. He especially loved being surrounded by his family and friends.
He is survived by his two sons, Charlie (Paula) Randall of Webster, TX and Floyd Randall of Austin TX; two daughters, Mary Frances (Lee) Thibodeaux of Lafayette and Lela (Nate) Remmick of Mukilteo, WA; three brothers, Buddy (Thi) Randall of Gulfport, MS, Tommy (Nancy) Randall of Rush Springs, OK, and Jackie (Sally) Randall of Enid, OK; three sisters, Charlene (George) Bryan of Apache Junction, AZ, Carol Morgan of Austin, TX, and Grada Randall of Wilmington, OH; eight grandchildren, Tiffany (Michael) Dunn, Danielle Phillips, Marvin Thibodeaux, Jr., Mathew Thibodeaux, Trevor Phillips, Rocko Cessac, Emily Randall and Lauren Randall; two great grandchildren, Brian and Braiden Dunn; and his "girls" Blue and Dolly.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years, Frances Faye Thompson Randall; his parents, Alex and Mary Coe Randall; two sisters, Mary Frances Randall and Wyoma Richards; and his brother-in-law, Tom Richards.
Honorary bearers will be Lee Thibodeaux, Marvin Thibodeaux, Jr., Mathew Thibodeaux, Trevor Phillips, Rocko Cessac, Michael Dunn, and Nate Remmick.
