Wilbert Derouselle

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 30, 2005, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cecilia for Wilbert Derouselle, 56, who died Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at St. Agnes Nursing Home in Breaux Bridge. Interment will be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Mr. Derouselle dedicated his life to the race track and took pride in his horses. Survivors include two brothers, James Harry Derouselle of Breaux Bridge and Joseph Carlo Derouselle of Florida; and one sister, Virgie Pickney of Breaux Bridge. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Nola Noel Derouselle; two brothers, Chester and Jessie Derouselle; and one sister, Gladys Derouselle. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 7 AM on Saturday and continue until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 8 AM Saturday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
