William "Bill" Trimble, Sr.

St. Martinville - A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am on Friday, August 20, 2021, at Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville for William "Bill" Trimble Sr., 72, who passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021.The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Thursday, and continue on Friday at 8:00 am until time of service.Interment will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coteau Holmes.Brother Blackie Guidry will officiate at the funeral service. Bill was born January 19, 1949 in Trenton, New Jersey. He was the proud owner of Bill's Welding Service and Offshore Fabricators. He was a welder most of his life and was always tinkering around and building something. He passed down his talents and work ethics to his children and grandchildren, who will always have him in their heart. Bill was a stranger to no one. He loved people, his pets, and most importantly, his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy Blanchard Trimble; two sons, Johnny Trimble (Dawn) and Billy Trimble (Tammy); three daughters, Phyllis White (Kenneth), Janice Berard and Daisy Trimble; sisters, Lillian Trimble Bonin, Shirley Trimble LeBlanc and Nancy Trimble Charpentier; grandchildren, Corey Trimble, Kayla White, Aubrey Trimble, Brett Berard, Tyler Berard, Forrest White and Camryn Trimble; and six great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lillian Zell Trimble; daughter, Janet Trimble; mother and father-in-law, John and Corrine Blanchard; brothers, Bobby Trimble and John Trimble, Jr.; and son-in-law, David Berard.
