Willis 'Bill' McGee

Breaux Bridge - Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, on Saturday, February 8, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Willis Bill McGee, 62, who passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2014. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Friday, and continue at 8:00 am until 1:45 pm on Saturday, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. Rev. Lenny Hayes will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Henderson. Willis was a commercial fisherman who loved fishing and hunting. He enjoyed helping those in need and loved to go dancing. Willis loved drinking coffee with his sister, Patricia; he would call her and say, Patricia, come, Ill make us a pot of coffee, come walk and drink coffee. He is survived by his companion, Shirley Ryder; three sons, Brocky James McGee and his wife, Abby, Billy James McGee, and Bobby Joseph McGee; his brother, Dakota McGee; two sisters, Beulah McGee and Patricia Boudreaux; and seven grandchildren, Brili Lynn McGee, Bryden James McGee, Billy Vicknair, Jr., Misty McGee, Megan McGee, Benny McGee, and Braylon McGee. He is preceded in death by his parents, Luzier and Enola Robin McGee; his son, Barry McGee; and two brothers, Allen and Ellis McGee. Pallbearers will be Brocky McGee, Billy McGee, Bobby McGee, Allen McGee, Jamie McGee, and Seth McGee. Honorary pallbearers will be Dustin Bergeron and Timmy Boudreaux.
