New Iberia A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, October 28, 2013 at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Wofford Folse, Jr., 78, who died Wednesday, October 23, 2013 in New Iberia. He was the owner of the original French House on Lewis Street for 20 years before starting his company Lucky Seven Rentals. He retired in 2000, then becoming a Real Estate agent. Wofford cherished his family and many friends. He never met a stranger, and was generous and kind to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his 3 daughters; Wendy Folse Gelpi and husband John Gelpi, III of Metairie, Dayna Folse Yeldell and husband Ricky of Zwolle and Kathryn Folse Montet and husband Richard of Broussard. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; his sister, Rita Girouard and his loving nephews, nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wofford Folse, Sr. and Blanche Babaz Folse. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia.
